Auto parts maker $BWA, known for its powertrain products, reported a 14% jump in 1Q16 sales, but higher costs and income tax pushed earnings slightly down. The company posted earnings of $164.1MM, or $0.75 per share, compared with $178.9MM, or $0.79 share a year ago. Revenue rose to $2.27Bil.
