$HBI's 2015 net sales rose 8%, mainly due to incremental net sales from acquisitions of Hanes Europe Innerwear and Knights Apparel. Operating profit rose 6% and as a percent of sales, operating profit was 10.4% versus 10.6% in 2014. Included within 2015 operating profit were acquisition, integration and other related charges of $266MM.
$MCD stock rose more than 2% after it posted better than expected 3Q16 results, driven by global same-store sales growth. Meanwhile, earnings and revenue were lower than last year, hurt by refranchising efforts.
