Gold and copper miner $NEM reported a decline in 1Q16 earnings due to lower gold and copper pricing despite higher volumes. Net income slid to $52MM or $0.10 per share from $183MM or $0.37 per share last year. Sales grew to $2.03Bil from $1.97Bil. Adjusted EPS decreased to $0.34 from $0.46.
