In 1Q16, $EXR increased same-store revenue by 9.1% and same-store net operating income by 12.3% compared to 1Q15. Same-store revenues rose due to gains in occupancy and higher rental rates for new and existing customers. $EXR increased same-store occupancy by 70BP to 92.8% as of March 31, 2016, versus 92.1% as of March 31, 2015.
