$BAC's provision for credit losses for 3Q16 rose to $850MM from $806MM in the previous year quarter, due to a lower reserve releases. Net reserve release was $38MM, down from $126MM in 3Q15, as reserve releases in consumer were mostly offset by increased commercial reserves.
