Fashion specialty retailer $JWN reported lower 1Q16 earnings, mainly driven by lower than expected sales and higher markdowns to better align inventory to current trends. Net earnings were $46MM or $0.26 per diluted share compared to net earnings of $128MM or $0.66 per diluted share in 1Q15. Net sales rose 2.5% to $3.2Bil in the quarter.
