$DTE 2Q15 Call: Michigan unemployment rate in June is 5.5%. This rate has been around 5.5% in the last three months, roughly in line with the national average. Michigan’s unemployment rate hasn’t been at this level since 2001. Michigan is the 7th most competitive state for job creation as well as No. 1 state for new manufacturing jobs since 2009.
