Leisure travel company $ALGT said that its Feb. 2016 passenger count rose 21% to 795,768 vs. Feb. 2015. The company said that its total system, which includes scheduled service and fixed fee contracts, passenger count rose 20.2% to 802,908 vs. Feb. 2015. For March 2016, $ALGT expects scheduled departures and ASMs to be more than 12% respectively.
$MCD stock rose more than 2% after it posted better than expected 3Q16 results, driven by global same-store sales growth. Meanwhile, earnings and revenue were lower than last year, hurt by refranchising efforts.
