$DHI stated that 1Q16 net sales orders jumped 9% to 8,064 homes to $2.4Bil vs. 7,370 homes and $2.1Bil in 1Q15. The number of homes closed in the quarter rose 1% to 8,061 homes vs. 7,973 homes in 1Q15. This was mainly due to an increase in the number of homes closed in the Southeast region adding up to 2,691 homes.
