Burbank, California-based mass media and entertainment company $DIS reported higher 2Q16 results, helped by higher revenue. $DIS said net income rose 2% to $2.14Bil, or $1.30 per share from $2.11Bil, or $1.23 per share a year ago. Revenue rose 4% to $12.97Bil. Excluding items, $DIS earned $1.36 per share, up 11% YoverY.
