Military shipbuilding company $HII's Ingalls Shipbuilding division received an $88.2MM contract from the US Coast Guard to buy long-lead materials for a ninth National Security Cutter (NSC). Advance procurement funds will be used to buy items like steel, main propulsion systems, generators, electrical switchboards and major castings.
