$CVS said that 1Q16 cash dividend rose by 21% per share and the company paid approx. $470MM in dividends. The dividend payout ratio is 31.9% and the company is well on track to achieve its target of 35% by 2018. $CVS repurchased approx. 22.4MM shares for $2.1Bil during 1Q16 and expects to repurchase an additional $1.8Bil of stock for the 2016.
