Financial services company $MTB said its net operating income for 2Q16, which excludes intangible amortization and merger-related expenses, was $351MM, compared with $290MM in 2Q15 and $320MM in 1Q16. Diluted net operating earnings per common share were $2.07 for 2Q16, up from $2.01 in 2Q15 and $1.87 in 1Q16.
$MCD stock rose more than 2% after it posted better than expected 3Q16 results, driven by global same-store sales growth. Meanwhile, earnings and revenue were lower than last year, hurt by refranchising efforts.
