Medical device manufacturer $BCR swung to a 2Q16 earnings from a loss last year, driven by lower income tax provision and higher revenues. Net income was $159.2MM or $2.11 per share compared to a loss of $54.7MM or $0.74 per share last year. Net sales grew to $931.5MM from $859.8MM. Adjusted EPS increased to $2.54 from $2.27.
