$DG 2Q15 Call: Gross profit was $1.6Bil or 31.2% of sales, an increase of 36 BP from 2Q14. Drivers were higher initial inventory mark-up, improved inventory shrink rate and lower transportation cost. Partially offsetting these improvements to gross profit were increased mark downs. SG&A expense increased by 9 BP over 2Q14 to $1.1Bil.
