Regional bank operator $PNC reported a decline in 1Q16 earnings due to weaker equity markets and related fees as well as continued deterioration in energy related credits. Net income slid to $943MM or $1.68 per share from $1.0Bil or $1.75 per share last year. Revenue fell to $3.67Bil from $3.73Bil.
