$PPL reported 2Q16 earnings of $483MM or $0.71 per share versus a loss of $757MM or $1.13 per share in 2Q15, which reflected a $1Bil loss or $1.50 per share from discontinued operations associated with the June 1, 2015 spinoff of its Supply business.
