Oil explorer $NFX reported a narrower quarterly loss helped by lower expenses. The company reported 2Q16 net loss of $667MM, or $3.36 per share, compared with a net loss of $992MM, or $6.09 per share a year ago. Revenue fell 19% to $381MM. Expenses declined more than by half to $879MM.
