Seattle, Washington-based $JWN said for 1Q16 it had a sales increase of 2.5% & a comp decrease of 1.7%, which fell short of its plan for low single-digit increase. The company ended 1Q16 with inventory of 5%. For the balance of 2016, $JWN's lowered inventory plan puts the company in a much stronger position to manage the business more proactively.
No better outlook on $MSFT. Even if the results beat a bit, the stock may move 4 to 6% higher, but won't go above $60.
