$NKE, world's largest sporting goods maker, reported higher 3Q16 results, helped by strong revenue growth and a lower effective tax rate. $NKE said net income rose 20% to $950MM, or $0.55 per share compared to $791MM or $0.45 per share a year ago. Revenue rose 8% to $8Bil helped by strong consumer demand.
